Abstract George Washington served his country with great honor and duty. He lived by a code of Public virtue— virtue in the sense of selfless, full-time, devotion to the public wealth. This lesson will take the students through the motivations of power and greed in a dictatorship vs. the selflessness and faith needed to have a republic. Students will decide what kind of leader they would want to be.
