Abstract The learner will explore facts about the Cherokee people and their culture, describe how the actions of the government of the time changed their culture and heritage, and recognize point of view by analyzing photographs of the Trail of Tears, and reading personal testimonies from people on the Trail of Tears and creating journal entries from the point of view of the Cherokee people.
